Celebrating Positive Behavior

Ways we celebrate student's positive behavior choices!

Individual

PT Prides: Teacher's hand out PT pride tickets to students that are following expectations and being positive role models. PT Pride tickets are used to earn VIP privileges and purchase items at the school store.

VIP: Once students have earned 100 PT Prides, they are eligible to become a VIP. VIPs get their picture added to the VIP wall, receive special privileges and celebrations, and are recognized at our quarterly assembly.

Student of the Month: Each homeroom teacher will select one student per month they believe has demonstrated exceptional PT Pride. This student will earn a certificate, have a letter set home to their families, and be honored during our quarterly assembly.

Student of the Quarter: From the students that have been nominated for Student of the Month, one student from each grade level will be selected to be student of the quarter.

Whole School

PBIS Assemblies: Prairie Trail holds quarterly PBIS assemblies to celebrate the hard work students have put in to follow the BE Statements. Each quarter focuses on a different BE Statement: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Productive, and Be Safe. VIPs and Students of the Month are honored during these assemblies, and Students of the Quarter are chosen. Staff members are also recognized for their positive contributions to our school.

Quarterly Celebrations: After the PBIS assemblies, Prairie Trail holds a whole school celebrations. Celebrations include: a game day, whole school bingo, a dance party, and Beach Bash!
